What we carry, and why
A kiln is the largest decision most studios and classrooms make, and it is the one we get asked about most. We carry the five lines that have earned their reputations across decades of firing: Skutt and L&L for the workhorse electric kilns most potters and schools rely on, AMACO and Olympic for classroom and studio configurations, and Paragon for smaller test and specialty work.
Because we service what we sell, we can talk through the parts of the decision that catalogs skip: element life, what a given controller actually does, how a kiln draws on your circuit, and whether your space can vent properly. We deliver locally across Dallas-Fort Worth, which matters more for a kiln than almost any other product. These are heavy, and freight damage on a cross-country shipment is a real and expensive risk.

Buying Kilns well
A few things we talk through at the counter before anyone commits.
Match the kiln to your top cone, not your average firing
A kiln rated to cone 6 that you run to cone 6 every load will wear elements faster than one with headroom. Studios firing stoneware regularly are usually happier with a cone 10 kiln run to cone 6.
Confirm the circuit before you order
Most studio kilns need a dedicated 240V circuit. We help you confirm amperage and breaker requirements so the kiln does not arrive before the electrician is scheduled.
Plan venting from day one
A downdraft vent extends element and thermocouple life and keeps fumes out of the room. For classrooms it is not optional.
